Housing Construction Makes Headway in Komdok Area of DPRK

| Pyongyang, June 11 (KCNA) -- Soldier-builders of the DPRK are pushing ahead with the construction of hundreds of flats in the Komdok area, true to the noble intention of the Workers' Party of Korea to turn the area into a magnificent ravine town and a highly civilized mining city. Commanding officers have aroused the soldier-builders to making innovations, taking the lead in every difficult work. The soldier-builders finished the foundation work for dwelling houses in a short span of time by raising the operation rate of excavators and heavy trucks. They are now stepping up the huge frame work at the final stage by inventing rational tools and applying labor- and materials-saving building methods. |
