The Agricultural Commission is taking agro-technical steps to protect the fruit trees from harmful insects and improve the taste and quality of fruits.

Fruit production units are regularly conducting the watering and leaf additional fertilizing to the saplings and young trees to prevent them from damage. They are also striving to head off the outbreak of insects by using various substitute agrochemicals suited to their actual conditions.

Fruit farms in Kwail and Pukchong counties are making efforts to protect the fruit trees.

The same is true of Songhan, Pyongyang, Myonggan and other fruit farms.
