After setting itself a goal for completing the projects for raising the conveying capacity in the shortest time, the Ministry of Coal Industry took measures for the supply of equipment and materials in cooperation with the relevant units, while providing proactive guidance on the production of coal wagons.

The Sunchon Area Youth Coal Mining Complex and the Tokchon Area Coal-Mining Complex pushed forward with the belt-conveyor project.

Coalmines across the country have produced coal wagons in real earnest.

Thanks to the efforts of officials and workers in the coal industrial sector, the ministry's coal-wagon production plan were carried out at 130 per cent and over 10,000 wheels of coal wagons and electric-cars produced this year.
