Officials of the Agricultural Commission and agricultural guidance organs in provinces, cities and counties are conducting the dynamic operation and command to manure and cultivate crops in a scientific way.

Thaechon and Cholsan counties of North Phyongan Province are doing deep plowing of maize fields and cleaning waterways. Ryongchon and Yomju counties are stepping up weeding of paddy fields and giving various growth promoters as leaf additional fertilizer to crops.

Rural communities in South Phyongan Province are taking nutrition and water control of crops in a scientific and technological way after learning about their growth, and taking measures to prevent damage by blight and insects.

Similar successes are witnessed in North and South Hwanghae and North and South Hamgyong provinces.
