The Hwanghae Iron and Steel Complex completed the wet construction and roofing for the installation of induction and has hastened the assembling of steel structure with hundreds of tons at the final stage.

The Chollima Steel Complex set the goal to produce various sizes of steel pieces by installing a continuous ingot machine with great economic effectiveness and has pushed ahead with the project to manufacture different sizes of steel pillars, truss and girders for cranes.

Similar progress has been made at the Chongjin Steel Plant and the Posan Iron Works.
