Art Festival of Servicepersons
Pyongyang, June 28 (KCNA) -- The brave fighters of the Korean People's Army (KPA) held art festivals of servicepersons with confidence in their victory, despite the fierce gunfire during the hard-fought Fatherland Liberation War.

The frontline art activities on the heights were conducted on a larger scale from the beginning of the fourth stage of the war, and they were expanded into the art festival, attended by all the service personnel.

The art festival of servicepersons was very peculiar as ordinary soldiers played violin and front-line musical instruments.

Put on the art festival, held for the first time with the attendance of thousands of servicepersons, were such colorful numbers as music, dance, drama and poem recitation and hundreds of pieces of literary works created among soldiers.

The 6th art contest of KPA servicepersons was attended by members of art groups, selected in art group contests of servicepersons.

The revolutionary songs resounded on the stages, instilling ardent patriotism and confidence in victory in the war into the servicepersons and the people in the rear and horrifying the enemies.

The art festival of servicepersons was a performance of optimism peculiar to the brave soldiers of the KPA with the indomitable faith and revolutionary optimism that they were sure to win as they were led by President Kim Il Sung, an ever-victorious and iron-willed brilliant commander, and the genuine persons who enjoyed singing songs with warm love for their life.
