Pyongyang, June 28 (KCNA) -- The Fatherland Liberation War Martyrs Cemetery was successfully built in Pyongyang, the capital city of the DPRK, on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the victory in the Fatherland Liberation War, thanks to the noble revolutionary comradeship and moral obligation of the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un.

Since its inauguration, remains of tens of martyrs have been newly buried in the cemetery for the past ten years.

Those martyrs performed distinguished feats for the victory in the last Fatherland Liberation War, true to the order of President Kim Il Sung. They had also worked faithfully at the revolutionary posts for the Party all their lives and fulfilled their mission and duty as revolutionary forerunners and educators implanting the younger generation with the spirit of devotedly defending the country.

The wives of one hundred and tens of martyrs, who supported the leadership of the Workers' Party of Korea, together with their husbands, enjoyed immortality under the loving care of the Party.
