Chairman Kim Jong Il made public the work on June 29, Juche 82 (1993) to provide a powerful ideological and theoretical weapon for further developing our circus into the Juche-oriented acrobatic art.

The work is a great encyclopedia and immortal programme for the creation of acrobatics as it scientifically and comprehensively systematized and newly clarified the principles and ways, fundamental theory and method of acrobatic creation to be adhered to in building the acrobatics of Juche on the basis of the Juche-oriented and original idea and theory on the essence of acrobatics for the first time in history.

Present at the meeting were Jo Kyong Jun, vice department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Sung Jong Gyu, minister of Culture, officials concerned and officials, creators, artistes and teachers and researchers of educational institutions in the field of acrobatic art.
