As the rainy season has arrived earlier than usual across the country, officials are organizing the work to prevent the damage by downpour beforehand on the basis of experience and lessons gained in the past.

The geological survey of faces was conducted in detail to find all dangerous places and a step was taken in advance for the drainage at pits vulnerable to flood.

All coal mines inspected the drainage system in a scrupulous way, including drainage pump, motor and pipeline, and took measures to get rid of the dangerous factors.

They cleaned up water sumps in a short span of time and completed the bulkhead-building project planned by coal pits. They also expanded or repaired drainpipes extending several thousand meters and increased the number of pumping equipment.
