Present there were Ju Chol Gyu, vice-premier of the Cabinet and chairman of the Agricultural Commission, Ri Tu Song, department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials of the Central Committee of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea, relevant sectors and participating units in the emulation and agricultural workers.

An outline for the emulation was announced and speeches were made at the meeting.

Speakers called upon the officials and working people to turn out as one in the socialist patriotic movement, bearing in mind that the struggle for attaining the goal of greenhouse vegetable production is just a drive for implementing the Party's policies.

They expressed the determination to glorify this significant year marking the 75th birthday of the DPRK and the 70th anniversary of the victory in the Fatherland Liberation War with increased greenhouse vegetable production and demonstrate the honor of victors in the socialist emulation drive.
