President Kim Il Sung clarified the principle of the Juche idea and advanced the Juche-oriented line of the Korean revolution at the meeting of leading personnel of the Young Communist League and the Anti-Imperialist Youth League held in Kalun from June 30 to July 2, Juche 19 (1930).

In the historic report "The Path of the Korean Revolution" made at the meeting he clarified the stand that the Korean people are the masters of the Korean revolution and the Korean revolution should be carried out by the Korean people themselves and in conformity with the actual conditions of the country.

He also defined the character and duty of the Korean revolution and advanced the lines and policies consistent with the Juche idea, including the line of anti-Japanese armed struggle, the line of anti-Japanese national united front and the policy of founding the party.

The lines and policies advanced by the President at the meeting correctly reflect the actual conditions of the Korean revolution and the country, and since then the Korean revolution came to embark on a new road of development according to its Juche-oriented guiding idea, guiding theory and scientific strategy and tactics.

Recalling with deep emotion the historic day, the President said that he only published in the name of "The Path of the Korean Revolution" the idea and stand which had been planted in the days of struggle and matured in prison, adding that it became the line and guiding idea of the Korean revolution and that all the contents of the thesis were based on the Juche idea.

The banner of Juche, held high by the President in Kalun, is flying as an immortal banner illuminating the road for eternal victory of the Korean revolution through centuries and generations.
