In recent years, it has developed various kinds of cosmetics, including those for skin and medical care and prevention of aging which are favored by the people.

The factory producing "Pomhyanggi"-trademarked cosmetics favored by the people is associated with the guidance of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.

One day in June Juche 107 (2018), General Secretary Kim Jong Un visited the factory. He called on its officials and employees to produce more world-class cosmetics representing the country, cherishing the immortal exploits of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il for the factory, and thus usher in a new heyday of the cosmetics industry.

He said that the quality of products should be signally improved, comparing to "Unhasu"-trademarked and other home-made cosmetics and world-famous cosmetics, never being carried away by the fact that the factory's products are very popular among the people and in high demand.

True to his instructions, the officials and employees of the factory have made big strides in making cosmetics which can compete with the world.

In the course, one of its products won an inventor medal and certificate from the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).

The workers of the factory are now striving to produce more cosmetics of good quality conducive to protecting the people's health.
