This fact shows the outstanding leadership of the respected General Secretary, who has made sure that the revolutionary spirit of self-reliance prevails in the country more strongly, the article says and goes on:

When we fully display self-reliance, the great spirit that runs through the whole history of the Korean revolution like lifeblood, we can weather any severe difficulties and achieve the greatest successes even under the worst conditions. The respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un stresses the need to embody the great spirit of self-reliance at every opportunity.

The Korean people have produced their precious assets one after another through their intense struggle for creation and construction under his outstanding leadership. During those days, they keenly realized once again that self-reliance is a powerful treasured sword for bringing about development and prosperity under any harsh circumstances.

Keeping in mind his important instructions given at the plenary meetings of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK), all the people across the country cherished the immutable truth that if they had surrendered to difficulties and waited for improved conditions, they could not have maintained even their existence, and that no force can block their advance accelerated by the revolutionary spirit of self-reliance.

The banner of self-reliance held high by the WPK is, indeed, the driving force for the Korean revolution to attain greater victories one after another and for turning the heyday of the revolution into a great golden age.
