The Kaesong Disabled Soldiers' Paper Factory and the Kaesong Plastic Goods Factory settled the problem of raw materials through a mass movement and propelled the technical updating of production processes to carry out their first half-yearly national economic plans ahead of schedule.

The Kaesong Ceramic Factory and the Kaesong Children's Foodstuff Factory carried out their plans on all indices.

Meanwhile, employees of the Kaesong Foodstuff Factory are actively introducing technical innovations to improve the quality of products while exploring and using locally available raw materials.

Such progress has bee made at other factories in the municipality, too.
