Fertilizer Production Increased in DPRK

Pyongyang, July 5 (KCNA) -- Officials and workers of the Hungnam Fertilizer Complex and the Namhung Youth Chemical Complex in the DPRK are increasing the fertilizer production at a time when the whole country is seething with the drive to implement the resolutions of the 8th Plenary Meeting of the 8th Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.

Bearing in mind the intention of the Party which set the goal of grain production as the first goal of 12 major goals for national economic development, they made collective innovations at worksites, thus fulfilling the plan for supply of farming fertilizer for this year ahead of schedule.

They, not content with this, worked hard to increase production and sent tens of thousands of tons of fertilizer more produced in ten-odd days to different farms.
