The Korean people, who had to regard flunkeyism and national ruin as their fate, could proudly emerge before the world as those strong in the spirit of independence under the leadership of the President, the article says, and goes on:

Under his guidance, the servants and kitchen women, who had lived in agony under the military rule by the Japanese imperialists, grew up to be staunch revolutionaries and ardent fighters and accomplished the historic cause of national liberation.

Even after the national liberation, the President put his heart and soul into bringing up the Korean people to be strong in the spirit of independence.

The Korean people, who deeply embodied the spirit of independence under the wise guidance of the President, could courageously turn out in the struggle to defeat the U.S. imperialist aggressors during the Fatherland Liberation War.

The leadership of the President, who made sure that the revolution and construction were carried out in our own way, no matter what others did and said, with the strong spirit of independence, was the fundamental source that made the Korean people grow stronger to be independent and indomitable people in the wake of the war.

Under the warm care of the President who successfully trained the people to be strong in their independent spirit till the last days of his great life, the Korean people could demonstrate their dignity and mettle as proud people carrying out the revolution and construction by their own efforts in the revolutionary spirit of self-reliance and fortitude.

The immortal exploits of the great leaders who dedicated their lives to bringing up the people to be dignified independent ones, are being further glorified by the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un.
