Tele-education System Proves Effective in DPRK
Pyongyang, July 10 (KCNA) -- Many working people across the DPRK have been enrolled in the study-while-working educational system to raise their technical and skill levels, being acquainted with their sectors and fields.

Workers of the February 8 Vinalon Complex and the Hungnam Fertilizer Complex finished the tele-education course of Kim Il Sung University, Kim Chaek University of Technology and Hamhung University of Chemical Engineering and contributed to implementing the first half-yearly plans by taking part in the technical innovation for increasing the capacity of the existing production processes and equipment.

The Kim Chaek Iron and Steel Complex has enrolled the workers who received tele-education so that they play a positive role in the work for solving the problems arising in the project for putting production processes on a Juche basis.

Workers of the Pukchang Thermal Power Complex, the East Pyongyang Thermal Power Plant, the Chongchongang Thermal Power Plant and the Suphung Power Station have acquired advanced science and technology through tele-education and presented new ideas and inventions, thus contributing to increasing electricity production during the first half of the year.

The same is true of the coal industrial sector, machine-building industrial sector and agricultural sector.
