The provincial committee of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea (UAWK) conducts a socialist emulation for arousing the agricultural workers to attainthis year's goal of grain production

Amid a socialist emulation for qualitatively wrapping up rice-transplanting, maize-planting, weeding, and harvesting, threshing and procurement of early crops, ten cities and counties of the province finished rice-transplanting in the main areas of fields more than ten days earlier than last year.

Weeding of maize fields, soybean-planting and harvesting of early crops were pushed forward as scheduled.

The province has conducted the organizational work, review and assessment to make sure that the successes and experience gained by advanced units are shared and generalized at a higher level so as to make the validity and vitality of a mass movement prove to be practical successes in this year's farming.
