The GAKC, the Association of Korean Women in China, the Jilin City Branch of the Jilin Provincial Association of the GAKC, Yuwen Middle School in Jilin and the family of Hwang Paek Ha, a China-resident Korean related to the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle, laid floral baskets before the statue of the President at Yuwen Middle School in Jilin, China and paid tribute to him.

Floral baskets in the names of the Federation of Korean Economic Workers in China, the Association of Korean Women in China, the Association of Young Korean Nationals in China, the Zhongnan Regional Association and the Beijing City Branch of the GAKC, and others were laid before the portraits of smiling President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il and art works depicting them at the DPRK embassy in Beijing, and the DPRK missions and the consulate general in China.

A meeting for adopting a letter to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un from the General Association of Koreans in China took place at its conference room on July 8 on the occasion of the 29th anniversary of demise of the President.

Present there were Choe Un Bok, chairwoman of the General Association of Koreans in China, officials of the GAKC and Koreans in China.

The participants watched a Korean film dealing with the immortal revolutionary career and exploits of the President.

Meanwhile, the Yanbian Regional Association and the Zhongnan Regional Association of the GAKC, the Federation of Korean Economic Workers in China, the Association of Korean Women in China, the Association of Young Korean Nationals in China and other affiliated organizations held memorial meetings.

The participants recollected the immortal revolutionary career of the President with their yearning and reverence for him growing deeper as the days go by.
