Signal Successes Made at Komdok Mining Complex in DPRK

Pyongyang, July 14 (KCNA) -- In hearty response to the important tasks set forth at the plenary meetings of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, several workteams of the Komdok Mining Complex in the DPRK have carried out their yearly plans and tens of workteams in charge of tunneling, excavation, conveying, etc. fulfilled their plans for the first half of the year. Not resting on their laurels, they strive to make uninterrupted innovations and progress.

The complex organized a socialist emulation for creating a 500-meter tunneling workteam of loyalty and a 100,000-ton mining workteam of loyalty, and officials find themselves at worksites to take prompt measures for knotty problems.

Miners of the Kumgol Mine are taking the lead in the emulation.

Members of the Ko Kyong Chan-led Hero Workteam of the April 5 Pit completed their yearly plan by the Day of the Sun and have made innovative successes in fulfilling the five-year plan.
