Officials of agricultural guidance organs in the province and its cities and counties acquainted themselves with the overall situation of farm fields frequently and have intensified the guidance on farming techniques so that various agrochemicals are produced with vegetable materials abundant in regions.

The provincial institute of agricultural science has organized passing-on-technique and demonstration to encourage all farms to actively apply botanical chemicals.

Taehongdan and Paekam counties increased the production of substitute agrochemicals twice as much as last year by using a plant with strong insecticidal action as raw material, thus preventing the outbreak of potato blight.
