The presentation was held on the theme of "Ensuring the modernity and convenience of passenger cars". It was attended by teachers, researchers and technicians of different units in the railway transport field including the Academy of Railway Science under the Ministry of Railways, Pyongyang University of Transport and the Kim Jong Thae Electric Locomotive Complex.

The presentation was aimed to improve the design and manufacturing technology of passenger train and ensure its technical performance, convenience and modernity to the highest level true to the resolutions of the Sixth Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.

During the presentation there were a technical lecture and a video show on the sci-tech achievements made in the railway transport field in the past.
