Amid this atmosphere, more than 27,000 schoolchildren won the July 15 Honor Student Prize over the past ten years.

The movement for winning the July 15 Honor Student Prize was started in February Juche 76 (1987) and has gained further momentum century after century, along with the new era of the Juche revolution.

Students of Pyongyang Secondary School No. 1, Changdok School and Moranbong Secondary School No. 1 took the lead in the movement.

Many winners of the July 15 Honor Student Prize have been produced at Kwangmyong Senior Middle School in Mangyongdae District, Jongju Technical Senior Middle School in Jongju City, Hamhung Secondary School No. 1 and other schools across the country.

Those winners proved successful in international contests, fully demonstrating the honor of Juche Korea.
