Premier Kim Tok Hun Inspects Farms and Industrial Establishments
Pyongyang, July 17 (KCNA) -- Premier Kim Tok Hun, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and vice-president of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK, made a field survey of various sectors.

Inspecting farms in Unryul and Unchon counties of South Hwanghae Province, Jungsan County of South Phyongan Province and Onchon County of Nampho Municipality, he stressed the need to manure and tend crops in a scientific and technological way in consideration of their growth and to mobilize all forces and means for weeding, in particular. And he called for conducting a proper review of the farm work with the main emphasis on ensuring quality, and introducing various rational methods of weeding to maximize the efficiency.

He also urged the agricultural officials and workers to manage and operate drainage facilities and reinforce the sea dike in a responsible manner to cope with the disastrous weather conditions like downpour, typhoon and tidal wave, which have become a fait accompli.

At the Sariwon Boiler Factory, the premier called upon its workers and officials to concentrate efforts on producing equipment for large-scale greenhouse farms under construction on a preferential basis, well aware of the noble intention of the Party to supply fresh vegetables to the people all the year round.

Going round the Ryonggang Building Stone Processing Factory and the Sariwon City Food Administration Station under construction, he stressed the need to thoroughly ensure the speed and quality in construction and push forward with the work for training skilled workers needed for normal operation of the factory and the station in a far-sighted way.

Earlier, he inspected the Kangdong Greenhouse Farm under construction and took steps to settle the problems arising in pushing forward with the project as scheduled.
