There was a workshop and presentation on the basic movements of the Korean national dance.

Attending it were choreographers, lecturers and teachers of art troupes and dance education units across the country. They were given lectures on the peerlessly great men's undying feats for the establishment and development of the basics of the Korean national dance and on the theoretical issues arising in performing the basic movements of the Korean national dance and technique of the Korean dance with a long-standing tradition.

The union has made sure that national and provincial art troupes and dance educational units conduct in an effective way the work to transfer the principles of performing the basic movements of the Korean national dance, acquired through the workshop and presentation, to creators, artistes and students.

It has also taken practical steps to help the creators and artistes and teachers from research institutions, art troupes and dance educational units share successes and experience with each other and boost cooperation.
