Regarding the teachers' retraining as a main link for reducing the difference in educational level, the Education Commission of the DPRK decided to dispatch teachers of major universities to provinces in order to conduct the retraining among regional university teachers and researchers.

Under this decision, the first-term retraining was conducted in provinces between mid-April and mid-May and the second-term retraining from mid-May.

The third-term retraining is now going on in each province.
