Contest among Lecturers in Field of Preservation of Revolutionary Relics Held
Pyongyang, July 20 (KCNA) -- A contest among lecturers in the field of the preservation of revolutionary relics across the DPRK took place in Hamhung City of South Hamgyong Province from July 11 to 19.

The contest was held, divided into groups of lecturers and officials selected from the preliminary contests of every province and ministries and national institutions.

The participants showed well their political and practical qualifications and the art of lecturing they have trained in the course of implanting the revolutionary traditions of the Party deeper in the minds of officials, working people and youth and students.

Those from Pyongyang Municipality and Kangwon, South Hamgyong and South Phyongan provinces, the Ministry of Culture, etc. won a high appreciation in the contest.

During the contest, its participants made a study tour of the revolutionary battle sites in the Sinhung area associated with President Kim Il Sung's feats for national liberation.

Through the visit to Mt Sambat, where the President made a speech "For a Fresh Upsurge in the Revolutionary Struggle in the Homeland" at the meeting of political workers from the Korean People's Revolutionary Army and chiefs of underground revolutionary organizations in September Juche 26 (1937), and the Parungol Revolutionary Battle Site, they more keenly cherished the fact that the revolutionary traditions created in the period of the anti-Japanese armed struggle are the strong root of the Korean revolution

At Tongogol and Paekyoksan secret camps and other revolutionary battle sites, they watched the revolutionary mementoes and slogans associated with the revolutionary forerunners' spirit and had an itinerant lecture contest.
