The Changsong Revolutionary Site is associated with the exploits President Kim Il Sung performed by powerfully encouraging the Korean people to win the victory in the past Fatherland Liberation War.

The President visited the then Changsong-ri of Sinanju-myon in Anju County on June 24, Juche 40 (1951), and instilled faith in sure victory into the people and clearly showed the road ahead of them.

In July alone, officials, working people, youth and students of the Anju City People's Committee, Phyongsong University of Education and many other units in the province and service personnel of the People's Army visited the revolutionary site on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the victory in the Fatherland Liberation War.

Going round various parts of the site, the visitors keenly cherished the outstanding greatness of the President who unfolded the grand blueprint for national prosperity, looking far into the future of the victorious country in the flames of the war.
