Rural Housing Construction Propelled in Pyongyang

| Pyongyang, July 21 (KCNA) -- The construction of rural houses for this year is progressing on a full scale in Pyongyang, the capital city of the DPRK, amid the intensified campaign to implement the Workers' Party of Korea's programme for rural revolution in the new era. The foundation excavation was completed in the main and the foundation concrete tamping and frame-building have proceeded at a fast pace. Districts and counties are carrying cement, steel and other building materials to the construction sites quickly in cooperation with relevant sectors, while steadily strengthening their construction forces and means. Successes have been made in the production of finishing building materials needed for rural housing construction. The city built acrylic paint, stone and fittings production bases by its own efforts. |
