At the exhibition, held in the mode of virtual exhibition through the "Palmyong" (invention) website, a nationwide data communication network, invention technologies were introduced and experience was exchanged. Those invention technologies won invention certificates and patent as they brought about good results in the work for putting the national economy on a Juche, modern and scientific basis in recent years.

During the exhibition, many participants and visitors actively shared and transferred excellent technologies everywhere without restriction of region and place.

With the exhibition as an occasion, an atmosphere of overall technological innovation and emulation was enhanced and public interest in exchange and cooperation of technologies increased remarkably.

Highly appreciated at the exhibition were the Education Commission, the State Academy of Sciences, the Ministry of Public Health, the Ministry of Railways, the Ministry of Light Industry, the Kumgang Trading Guidance Bureau and other units which set a higher goal for technical innovation and have augmented their own scientific and technological force.
