New Process for Low-temperature Carbonization of Brown Coal Established

Pyongyang, July 24 (KCNA) -- Officials and workers in the coal industry of the DPRK established a new-type process for low-temperature carbonization of brown coal at a coalfield in the northern area of the country by their own efforts and technology.

The establishment of the process opened up a prospect for more effectively applying to the development of metallurgical and chemical industries the brown coal extremely abundant in the country.
