Officials of the Ministry of Culture helped the Mokgam Farm in Thaethan County finish rice-transplanting ahead of schedule and harvest early crops successfully. In March they provided the farm with equipment and materials needed for building a hall of culture and a youth school, while repairing a hundred and tens of dwelling houses.

Those of the Ministry of Land and Maritime Transport built a new pumping station at the Kumwon Farm in Samchon County and dredged and cleaned a river and rendered assistance to the farm in its preparations for harvesting in a foresighted way.

Officials of the Ministry of Light Industry, the Maritime Administration and other ministries and national institutions, too, are intensifying the assistance to the rural areas.
