Attending it were figures and members of the International Group for Solidarity with the DPRK and German and Belarusian branches of the group and the Russian Association for Friendship and Cultural Cooperation with the DPRK.

At the conference, there was a keynote speech to be followed by speeches.

The chief of the International Group for Solidarity with the DPRK said in a keynote speech that the two-year old DPRK defeated the U.S., the chieftain of aggression, under the outstanding leadership of President Kim Il Sung, adding that the Korean war in 1950s was a fierce showdown between the Korean people and the U.S. imperialists.

The chairperson of the Russian Association for Friendship and Cultural Cooperation with the DPRK and other speakers noted that the Korean war in the last century clearly showed that once there are the wise leadership of the leader and the people with indomitable fighting spirit, not a big country can be sure to defeat a formidable enemy, saying that July 27, 1953, the historic day when the Korean people defeated the U.S. imperialists, is a holiday common to the whole of mankind.

They extended warm congratulation to the Korean people on greeting the victory day, saying that under the leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who is successfully carrying forward the cause of the preceding leaders, the Korean People's Army has developed into a powerful militant rank capable of defeating any formidable enemies at a single blow.

Adopted at the conference was a congratulatory message to Kim Jong Un.
