Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un Receives Greetings from Cuban President

Pyongyang, July 27 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) and supreme commander of the armed forces of the DPRK, received a message of greeting from Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, president of the Republic of Cuba, on July 26.

The Cuban president in the message extended the sincerest congratulations on behalf of the Cuban party, government and people to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the end of the Korean War.

At this moment we are marking the 70th anniversary of the assault on Moncada Barracks and Carlos Manuel de Cespedes Barracks, the message said, and went on:

Through these two events, which were coincided with each other historically, we demonstrated the invincible fighting spirit and will of victory cherished by the peoples of the two countries.

In the message, the Cuban president reaffirmed that Cuba attaches great importance to the close ties of friendship, cooperation and solidarity with the DPRK.
