The delegation was accompanied by Mun Song Hyok, vice department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, and Wang Yajun, Chinese ambassador to the DPRK.

At the old home of President Kim Il Sung in Mangyongdae, the visitors looked round historic relics with deep interest, being briefed on the glorious revolutionary career of the President, who devoted his whole life to prosperity of the country and happiness of the people and made immortal contributions to the development of the DPRK-China friendship and the accomplishment of the human cause of independence against imperialism, and on his revolutionary family.

Li Hongzhong had a photo taken in commemoration of the visit to the old home.

He wrote in the visitor's book: "We miss President Kim Il Sung, the great leader of the Korean people and a close friend of the Chinese people."

The members of the delegation went round the revolutionary sites on Mangyong Hill.
