Officials and working people across the country have sent more than 6 million pieces of rail track fixtures, hundreds of tons of cement, aggregate and supply materials, and various kinds of machinery and equipment to the railway transport sector in the first half of the year.

On the occasion of the day, Jagang Province provided necessary manpower and materials for sprucing up the areas near railway tracks, and aroused enthusiasm for emulation among cities and counties through demonstration, strict review and evaluation.

South Hamgyong Province has directed efforts to reinforcing the railway tracks.

The same is true of Pyongyang, Kaesong and Rason municipalities, and Kangwon and North Hwanghae provinces.
