Officials of the provincial rural economy committee and agricultural guidance organs in cities and counties are concentrating all their efforts on attaining this year's goal of grain production and, at the same time, launching a campaign for expanding the area of fields under oil-bearing crop cultivation.

The township farm, Songmae, Changmae and other farms in Yonthan County have produced tens of tons of rapeseeds this year alone as a result of their sincere efforts.

Hwangju County expanded the area of fields under oil-bearing crop cultivation through inter-cropping.

Similar successes are witnessed at Junghwa, Unpha, Singye and Phyongsan counties.
