Rodong Sinmun Calls for Accelerating General Advance for This Year
Pyongyang, July 30 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun in an editorial on Sunday says that the DPRK celebrated the 70th anniversary of the victory in the great Fatherland Liberation War as a grand festival of glory and succession, supported by the noble loyalty and ardent patriotism of all the people and service personnel, and amid warm congratulations from the world progressives.

We are sure to win as we are led by the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un - this is the unshakable faith all the people more deeply cherished through the celebrations of the 70th anniversary of the victory in the great Fatherland Liberation War, the editorial says, and goes on:

Through the celebrations, we showed the world once again the truth that victory is in store for the DPRK forever as we hold the great leaders in high esteem generation after generation.

All the people, who celebrated the 70th anniversary of the victory in the Fatherland Liberation War as a revolutionary holiday of victors and the greatest festival of war victory, are filled with the firm will to proudly write a new history of victory in the great heroic spirit of the victorious wartime generation.

We should further accelerate the general advance for this significant year by personifying and thoroughly embodying the absolute loyalty to the leader, love for the country, matchless devotion and mass heroism displayed by the victors in the great years.

We should speed up our drive for celebrating our September holiday with greater successes in the spirit and mettle we displayed in celebrating our July holiday with confidence in the invincible national power and inexhaustible development potentiality of our Republic.

The editorial calls upon all the people to fully demonstrate the stamina of heroic Korea and heroic people, rallied closer around Kim Jong Un, and more dynamically advance toward attainment of this year's goal.
