The Kuwait-DPRK Friendship Association in a statement said that in the 1950s the Korean people repelled the aggression by the imperialist allied forces and defended the dignity and sovereignty of the country under the leadership of President Kim Il Sung.

The DPRK was put on the position of a political and military power, which no one can ignore, under the leadership of President Kim Il Sung and H.E. Kim Jong Il and, today it has firmly consolidated the military capability for self-defence with the tremendous nuclear deterrence as the main force under the wise guidance of H.E. Kim Jong Un, the statement noted, extending firm solidarity to the Korean people in their struggle to contain the military threat of the hostile forces and defend the sovereignty of the country and peace and security of the Korean peninsula.

The South African National Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism said in a statement that the three years of the Fatherland Liberation War were the days of bloody resistance waged by the Korean people to preserve the dignity of the nation and defend the territory of the country and were recorded with heroic feats to be shined in the history of mankind forever.

The Korean people, rallied as one around their leader, shattered the myth of "mightiness" of the U.S. imperialists for the first time in history and ushered in a new era of surge in the anti-imperialist, anti-U.S. struggle, the statement said, adding:

The war victory exploits of Comrade Kim Il Sung, the gifted military strategist and ever-victorious and iron-willed commander, are shining brilliantly thanks to Comrade Kim Jong Un following Comrade Kim Jong Il.

We extend the highest glory to Comrade Kim Jong Un and warm congratulations to the heroic Korean people on the occasion of the war victory day.
