Work to Cope with Disastrous Climate

Pyongyang, August 1 (KCNA) -- Ryanggang Province of the DPRK is striving to cope with such disastrous abnormal climate as rainy storm, flooding and fierce heat.

The provincial people's committee has worked hard to ensure that the drainage equipment in cities and residential areas is improved.

Steps were taken to protect those areas and houses vulnerable to flooding and arouse the public awareness of response to crisis.
