This year they have bred fish in thousands of hectares of paddy field, putting the fish breeding on a scientific basis of high level.

South Phyongan Province stocked 1,000 hectares of paddy field with millions of fish.

Phyongwon and Mundok counties saw to it that those responsible for the management of rice-paddy irrigation did their job well by enhancing their role. As a result, they succeeded in making more fry alive.

Similar successes were made by South Hamgyong Province, North Phyongan Province and South Hwanghae Province.
