National Presentation of Wheat Cultivation Technology and Experience Held in DPRK

Pyongyang, August 4 (KCNA) -- A national presentation of wheat cultivation technology and experience took place in the DPRK through video conferencing on Aug. 2-3 under the sponsorship of the Korean Agricultural Technology Association of the Central Committee of the General Federation of Science and Technology of Korea.

The presentation was held in forms of technical lecture, presentation of papers and experience and question-and-answer session, with the attendance of scientists, technicians, teachers and field officials from scores of units, including the Academy of Agricultural Science, Wonsan University of Agriculture and the North Hwanghae Provincial Institute of Agricultural Science.

Submitted were more than 40 papers and data on the experience, and technologies and experience for cultivating various strains of wheat highly appreciated.
