Sci-Tech Presentation in Field of Land and Maritime Transport Held in DPRK

Pyongyang, August 4 (KCNA) -- A national sci-tech presentation in the field of land and maritime transport took place at the Ryongnam Dockyard of the DPRK on Aug. 2-3 through video conferencing, under the sponsorship of the Korean Land and Maritime Transport Association of the Central Committee of the General Federation of Science and Technology of Korea.

The presentation was held on the theme of "Putting lines for ship repairs and shipbuilding on a modern basis".

Attending it were scientists, technicians, teachers and researchers from various units, including Kim Il Sung University, Kim Chaek University of Technology and the marine science institute under the Ministry of Land and Maritime Transport.

Presented to it were more than ten papers conducive to shipbuilding and improving the performance of the existing cargo ships.
