The commission has stepped up the work to improve the educational structure in a rational way so as to provide advanced education.

The primary and secondary education sectors are focusing efforts on the work to improve the structure of educational process, increase the number of schools giving education in the fields of literature, physical science, art, sports and technology by effectively allocating the teachers' forces, strengthen the ties between secondary education and higher education and social practice and improve the guidance and management system for the primary and secondary education sectors.

A plan for improving the educational structure in the field of higher education is also intensified.

In keeping with improved educational structure, the commission has propelled the work to properly set school subjects and improve education contents in the primary and secondary education sectors and to update the educational contents in the higher education sector.

Meanwhile, measures are taken to improve the work of universities of education and teacher training colleges and raise the qualifications and abilities of university teachers.
