Iron and Steel Production Goes up in DPRK

| Pyongyang, August 6 (KCNA) -- To implement the resolutions of the plenary meetings of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials and workers of the Haeju Steel Works in the DPRK have increased the iron and steel output 1.4 times as against the same period of last year. Through regular prize competitions for solving technical problems in production, dozens of technical innovations and inventions were introduced this year alone. |
