A campaign was launched in different parts of the country to prevent damage to forests by harmful insects and abnormal weather.

The forest sector secured enough sprayers, efficacious chemical and biological pesticide and has carried on applying them to forest areas on a regular basis.

It also pays attention to preventing forest fire damage.

All tree nurseries in the country are concentrating efforts on the work to ensure the survival rate of saplings under the hot weather conditions.
