President Kim Il Sung's Feats for War Victory Lauded Abroad
Pyongyang, August 8 (KCNA) -- Personages of different countries made public statements and articles between July 17 and 27 to mark the 70th anniversary of the Korean people's victory in the Fatherland Liberation War.

The secretary of the Mfumalanga Provincial Committee of the South African Communist Party said in a statement that the great Comrade Kim Il Sung, who led the three-year war to victory, is an ever-victorious and iron-willed commander who opened up the trend of the times toward independence. Thanks to his undying exploits for war victory, the Korean people are now dignified and glorious and the rosy future is in store for the DPRK that will prosper forever, the statement added.

A central executive member of the Myanmar Journalist Association and the chairman of the Guinea-Korea Friendship and Solidarity Association noted in their statements that the victory of the Korean people in the Fatherland Liberation War was a brilliant victory won by the outstanding leadership of President Kim Il Sung and a proud fruition of the Korean people's will to defend their country without fail.

The chairman of the Korean Friendship Association UK in an article posted on its website termed the DPRK's victory in the Fatherland Liberation War the brilliant, militant feats the entire people performed by safeguarding their country with their single-minded unity around their leader and the proud feats to be conveyed for all ages.

The secretary general of the DR Congo Branch of the African Regional Committee for Friendship and Solidarity with the Korean People in a statement said that the victory won by the Korean people in the fierce war with the aggressor forces, which sought to stamp out the sovereignty of their country, is the great exploit of President Kim Il Sung, expressing the will to support the just cause of the Korean people and strengthen friendship and solidarity with them.
