Capacity Expansion Brisk in Different Industrial Establishments of DPRK

Pyongyang, August 9 (KCNA) -- Capacity expansion projects are progressing apace at different chemical industrial establishments of the DPRK, true to the resolutions of the 8th Plenary Meeting of the 8th Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea. The Ministry of Chemical Industry directs efforts to construction according to the plan for readjustment, reinforcement and modernization, while giving priority to technical guidance and material supply. The Hungnam Fertilizer Complex finished the project for expanding the coal yard by installing tens of equipment after the completion of structural construction, thus providing a guarantee for producing much more fertilizer. Its workers and technicians are devoting their wisdom and enthusiasm to the establishment of a melamine resin production line while simultaneously pushing ahead with manufacturing of equipment and building construction. The February 8 Vinalon Complex accelerates the overhaul of boilers and carbide electric furnaces at the final stage while rationally distributing manpower and organizing work. Officials and workers of the Sinuiju Chemical Fibre Mill are speeding up the remodeling of dozens of buildings including pulp and paper workshops. The Ponghwa Chemical Factory has pushed ahead with the project for establishing a polypropylene resin production process while securing enough materials and raising the operating rate of machines and equipment. The Myonggan Chemical Factory is speeding up the remodeling and modernization of the factory by giving full play to the mental power of the masses. |
