The Ministry of Railways has urged the relevant units to complete preparations to cope with emergency and take timely measures after grasping actual conditions of vulnerable factors. It also dispatched officials to dangerous spots to take safety measures.

The Pyongyang Railway Bureau has paid attention to ensuring the safety of train operation under strong wind and downpour and protecting cement, coal and other major freights.

Chongjin and Hamhung railway bureaus have taken steps to remove all the factors that may pose a danger to train operation.

Similar measures are taken by other railway bureaus.
