Taking part in the struggle were the Headquarters of the Movement for Resignation of the Yoon Suk Yeol "regime", the Confederation of Trade Unions (CTU), the People's Action and other mass organizations and tens of thousands of people from all walks of life including workers, peasants, poor, women, youth and students.

Prior to the candlelight action, there were meetings of the CTU and other organizations in different parts of Seoul.

Speakers at the meetings called for driving out the U.S. and ousting the Yoon Suk Yeol "regime" through a mass struggle to protect the people's life and peace. They stressed that all the forces should turn out and wage a vigorous struggle to oust the Yoon Suk Yeol "regime" getting hell-bent on the military alliance with the U.S. and Japan.

The participants marched to the venue of an all-people rally, holding large placards and slogan boards carrying such words as "Ouster of Yoon Suk Yeol regime" and "Halt to military drills for war!", and chanting "U.S. forces, withdraw" and "Yoon Suk Yeol regime, step down".

The 2nd all-people rally took place under the sponsorship of the Headquarters of the Movement for Resignation of the Yoon Suk Yeol "regime".

Speakers there accused traitor Yoon of his crimes such as war drills against the north, military alliance with the U.S. and Japan, mounting war crisis, and crackdown on workers, citizens and media.

Then the 52nd candlelight rally on the theme of "Let's drive out Yoon Suk Yeol!" was held under the sponsorship of the Candlelight Action.

The candlelight rally pointed out the criminal records of the Yoon Suk Yeol "regime" and showed the strong will of people from all walks of life to oust traitor Yoon at any cost.

Speakers branded the Yoon "regime" as a sycophantic and treacherous "regime" and a repressive "regime" which has put the people's living into destitution.

Then the participants staged a demonstration, holding large placards and various symbols like "Stop to military drills for war!", "Peace!" and "Oust Yoon Suk Yeol!" and chanting such slogans as "Expel Yoon Suk Yeol" and "Step down, the Yoon Suk Yeol regime driving the people to death".

Media said that many people from all parts of the region gathered in the rally venue, without reference to age and sex and despite rainy and hot weather, to harden their will to oust Yoon Suk Yeol and that the venue was seething with wrath.
